Mon Dieu.... I've found a Subway!

Last night we went to Le Mans with my Grandma and the Nixes for a few drinks. We went in an Irish bar (the most un-French place we could find!) but I still insisted on ordering the drinks in French, even though they all spoke perfect English. I only managed to take one picture before my camera died, and it's really fuzzy. I was told there is a Subway in Le Mans, so there goes my losing weight plans!



I had my first proper lie-in today until 12, and then we went to the beach by the lake. It was reeally warm today, and yet the beach was so deserted. I think I might persuade Dave to take us back and we can take a picnic and chill out. I'm really happy with how the pictures turned out - I think they look really artistic! Then we nipped to the supermarket to buy a baguette, and I saw my first ever horse meat and frozen snails. I couldn't get a picture of the horse meat because people would have seen me, and I'd have looked like an idiot, but I managed to slip my camera into the freezer for the frozen snails.





Tomorrow I think we are going to a French car boot sale in the morning. I can't wait, I'm gonna buy loads of little French nic-nacs to Frenchify my new house. In the afternoon, we're going to watch my cousins' football team.
